Chapter 3
Sesshomaru entered the room and his golden eyes fell on his depressed mate. She was lying on the bed, eyes staring into the wall while her hands ran over her old miko robes in a nostalgic manner.
His heart clenched.
He never meant for this to happen. He had truly grown to cherish her, and her quick thinking, dearly. At first he was attracted to the mystery that was her, her power and the future…but things changed after Naraku.
He learned then that being different made you stronger, gave you a new set of abilities and he had fallen for that.
Sadly…not all youkai had matured as he had.
