Yes, Kagome is very much cooped up. It's both due to the fact that Sesshomaru stays copped up so he doesn't think about taking her out of the house and also because it's exhausting for Kagome to do so and as you said, she doesn't really want everyone staring at her. But don't worry there will be outings in the future and Kagome will be going out on her own veeeeeery soon! [semi evil laugh] ahah.
