This is so sad...

It makes me depressed and I sort of want to cry.

Interesting start to this story and would love to see where you take it.  Though I would reccomend adding a bit more detail to the story to help the chapter blossom a bit.

This is a very good start, you have an interesting way of telling the story. However, I would recommend that you go back through and check your grammar, there were a few spots in the story that felt very choppy because of it, but they are all easy fixes. As i said you have a great start here ad with a little tweaking it will be an excellent and unique story. Keep up the good work!

I have to say that from the first paragraph on you caught my attention and kept it to the very end, though some would be upset about the cliffy I think that you ended the chapter at the right point to leave your reader's wanting more. ^-^ Keep up the good work!

What a heart wrenching first chapter! It definitely grabs your attention from the start, and makes me curious about how it will progress. I'd go through and do a double check on your spelling and grammar. There were a few easy fixes that you could make that would really help make the story flow more smoothly. I think you have very eloquent thoughts to convey, but they sometimes get lost in the gramatical errors.
