awww! this was an incredibly sweet chapter, i adore that sesshomaru got back to ashford on kagome's birthday and that they were married a year later, that's a particularly nice touch

i'm also glad that jaken is okay and overall this was a completely brilliant fic, you're a talented writer and i look forward to whatever else you choose to post

Cause I'm going to really miss this story, now that it's complete...

SO EXCITING! I was very worried when you moved Sesshoumaru to Japan, since the war lasted longer there and the battle tactics were so vicious, but I am so excited he is going home! I cannot wait for the reunion! Thank you for the update!

Anyway, sucks Kagome's mother died, I was hoping she'd pull through long enough to see her girl married and all. Assuming of course that Sessh and Kags are headed that way. A friend of mine's mother just died,and only a few months before her wedding so I guess that particular piece just hit a little closer to home as it were. Anyway, stoked once again to see an update, REALLY wasn't expecting another one after the last til after the holidays. Though I probably read someone else saying no more til after and got everything crossed. Oh well. It made for good surprises here. ^^ Can't wait for the next chapter!

I am a bit sad that this lovely story will end with the next chapter but I can't wait either. This chapter was wonderful and had me bursting with joy. I hope Sesshomaru will get there in time for her birthday. I also love how you depicted the Atomic bomb and how people were feeling about that. Can't wait for the last chapter update soon please <3

Yay update! Though the first letter confused me a bit at first. It says to Kagome from Kagome, but I think it was supposed to be to Kagome from Sesshomaru. Anyway, poor Jaken. He's always getting beat up. I hope he makes it though, since he's Sesshi's only friend where they are. That would suck for Sessho to be that alone. It is war though, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if you killed him off. Other than that, this chapter was a bit more cheery I think, with Kagome's mom doing better and everything. I hope she either gets well, or at least doesn't suffer much. That sort of thing is just hell. But yeah, good to see an update,especially since I had thought you said in chat that you were going to wait til after the holidays. It was a nice surprise to come home and see a notifcation for this in my email. Hope to see another chapter soon, and if I don't see you in chat, have a Merry Christmas! They do celebrate Christmas in Australia right? o.O

This was a sweet little filler chapter for our newfound lovers. The end is closer than they think and I can't wait to see how they will react when they are actually reunited. Until then here's hoping that good will triumph in everybody's lives (esp Jaken's)

Just to let you know on Sessh's letter you put Kagome instead of his name at the end.
