I wanna say that that scene was actually really sweet. Sesshoumaru giving Kagome something that she has wanted and making sure that it is still a part of him so that he can protect her always. Only the best for one of Sesshoumaru's. But there is still that element of Sesshoumaru where wonder is a better response. I would say that this is def a step forward in their relationship. I can't wait to see what happens next :)
