Overall pretty good.  Having Inuyasha pursue Kikiyo to distract her from Kagome is an original plot point I haven't seen before.  I actually felt really bad for him.

This was one of the saddest fics I've ever read. I'm glad you put it up on Dokuga. I really felt bad for Inuyasha in this, but he had to realize that he and Kagome were never meant to be. I guess her soul had to move on from the hanyou. Maybe there is a good reason he's been barred from ever seeing her. In the long run, it could be for his own good; a message that he should move on from Kagome and find someone new. But I don't see that happening for him any time soon after that confrontation. I don't think it was just the sake talking. When one gets drunk, they become a little too honest for their own good.
