Okay, Aki totally reminds me of my drag queen friends except instead of store bought weaves, he's got the eight tales! Such a great character. I love the development of ALL of your characters...their personalities just jump off the page and so full of nuances. Love it! More please

Even though you have a valid point: a woman's capacity or value is not determinated by her ability to reproduce, I think having children on their own is very important to some women. And if there is a comparison or resemblance in the family structure of inuyoukai and dogs, I believe that having a pack of their own makes it even more elemental.

But then again is a good twist you make in this story: to provide us with a different development of it.

I do hope that in the end the two principal characters will be happy.

Wow, I already like this story so much and I love love love your Sess' mum!  She's one of my favorite characters who I think is way underutilized in fics aside from being a mean old biddy.  I love your Lady mother's complexitites and kooky personality traits.
