I'm confused.  I thought Himeko and Sesshoumaru were mated for the purpose of begetting an heir.  Now she's saying there will be no pups.  I guess that's why Shippo is his heir.  So why the mating if not for an heir?  Is she there to just sate his lust and for the status as Lady of the Western Lands?  I hope this story does not become a threesome.  I hope Kagome is no weak wimp.  Hopefully she has by now control over her powers and can manipulate them.  I always hated that she was weak and untrained in the anime.  Also that she never took the time to seek help in being trained.  Her weak powers always seemed to flair up clumsily and accidentally.

Ooooh, who could the inuyoukai be? Sesshoumaru's sister? Sesshoumaru daughter? She called Kagome little sister - if Sess and Kag are gonna end up together, I'm more willing to hedge a sister, but there's more possibilties, I'm sure!

Very nicely written - might I suggest, though, to put some kind of divider between the Author Notes and the story, just to differentiate it better?
