That was very sweet and poignant. I'm sure a lot of military spouses have those same feelings when they have lost their loved one during war. I have a son that has served 3 tours of duty in Iraq and is getting ready for his 4th tour soon. I know how his wife must feel because she is a very sensitive and gentle person that loves my son very much.
Thank you for that story. Nicely written.
