You have a talent for writing heartbreaking, sad stories with not always happy endings. I hope you decide to continue this story and give it the happy ending it deserves. I have to admit that when I read a good story, I want a happy ending because in real life, there are far too many unhappy endings and way too many disappointments in life. So when I read, it's my way of escaping and while I'm in my fantasy world, I want to be happy, not sad.

That was sad . . . And you can't just stop there! their sad story has to have a happy ending! Those are the best stories. The ones where it has a sad beginng and thenit turns into something happy.
